What is the black bar strip on ATM and credit card?

If you want to withdraw money from ATM, then you have to place card in a machine slot correctly. The card is known only if the black strip on the card is in the right direction. There is a black bar on many electronic cards. It's called a magnetic strip.

Magnetic strip is a thin film made of magnetic metal, which is mixed in plastic with iron particles. When iron particles come near a powerful magnet itself, it becomes a magnet itself. And the particles are clamped. The magnetic recorder in the tape recorder taps the card owner's details, number etc. on this strip. This magnetic strip is in front of the card reader when the card is inserted into a machine slot.

The card reader has a wired coil. The magnetic field causes the coil to generate electricity. The currents go to the computer circuit and the card details are resolved. The data on the strip is labeled vertically as a barcode. We do not see these particle lines being of magnetic fields. Data on the magnetic strip of ATM credit card is saved for years. Nevertheless, care is necessary. It should not be close to a powerful moon or too hot. By doing so, its magnetic field gets weak and data is erased.
