How to Login to a Wi-Fi Network in Fire TV

Amazon Fire Stick needs an internet connection to stream videos, shows and your favorite music on your TV using your Amazon account. It is agreed that Amazon Fire TV stick is a great source of entertainment for families but it is nothing without an active internet connection. So, in this tutorial, let’s learn how to login to a Wi-Fi network on your Fire TV stick and enjoy the content of your choice.

Step 1. Connect the 'Fire Stick' to the TV
To begin with, connect your Fire Stick to the HDMI port in your TV. Plug it to a power source and ensure that the correct input source is selected.

Step 2. Select ‘Settings’ on the home screen
On the home screen of your TV, scroll to the ‘Settings’ option on the menu, using our remote control. Click on ‘Settings’. This will open a new menu for you.

Step 3. Choose ‘Network’ in the ‘Settings’ menu

In the ‘Settings’ menu, choose and click ‘Network’. This will open a list of networks that are available in your home.

Step 4. Choose the 'Name of Your Network'

To login to a Wi-Fi network of your choice, you will have to scroll to it using your remote and click on it. If the Wi-Fi network of your choice is open, you will instantly connect to it otherwise, you may be prompted to input a password using the remote control and you will be connected to the Wi-Fi of your choice. 


Step 5. Choose ‘Join Other Network’
If you do not see the name of your network, you will have to go to ‘Join Other Network’ and manually enter the name of your Wi-Fi.


Step 6. You have Now Successfully Logged into a Wi-Fi network
Once you successfully connect to a Wi-Fi, you will be able to see the word ‘Connected’ below the name of your preferred Wi-Fi connection.
