Micron & Sandisk Launched Fastest SD Cards With 1 TB Of Storage Capacity

Shortly before, 4GB or 8GB of storage were considered in the smartphone. Later on, smartphones increased onboard storage. The recently launched Samsung has been offering 1TB storage in its smartphone Galaxy S10 Plus.

In the MWC, SD Association launched the fastest memory cards for smartphones. Two companies also launched the first 1TB storage of SD cards in the world. Micron and Sandisk have introduced SD cards with 1TB storage.

Both read & write speed

1. Sandisk claimed that the company would provide a read speed of up to 160Mbps and a write speed of up to 90Mbps in its SD card.
2. At the same time, Micron claimed to deliver a 100Mbps read speed and a 95Mbps write speed.

Cost of both Micron & Sandisk micro SD cards

1. Micron did not reveal the value of his 1TB micro SD card.
2. Sandisk's 1TB SD card will cost 450 dollars or approximately Rs. 31,300.
