Nikon has just announced the launch of its latest entry-level DSLR camera, the Nikon D3500 in the market. According to the announcement page, the device comes with a 24.2-megapixel CMOS sensor in DX-format (crop format). The company added that it has updated both the CMOS image sensor as well as the Nikon Expeed image processor. The company claims that the camera is
expected to capture sharp details and vivid colors . Talking about the specifications of the camera, it comes with an 11-point autofocus system along with ISO ranging from 100 to 25,600.
The company claims that users will be able to shoot up to 1,550 shots on a single charge. Once the images are captured, D3500 also comes with wireless sharing where users can use Nikon
SnapBridge feature to transfer the images to their smartphones. To help beginners understand how the camera works, the D3500 also comes with a Guide mode. Nikon has also added the Effects mode where users can apply filters to the images that they have shot so that the camera owner can directly transfer the image to their smartphone and upload it on image-sharing platforms such as Instagram.

Talking about the video capabilities of the camera, the D3500 allows users to shoot in the 1080p format at 60 frames per second. The company has priced the camera at $499.95 which amounts to Rs 35,400 at the time of writing along with a Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR AF-P DX lens as the default kit lens.
If you want to buy another lens then Nikon is also offering its Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED AF-P DX lens along with the D3500 body and kit lens for $849.95 which is roughly Rs 60,183.
