Running a program or application as administrator in Windows 10 is simple and we'll show you how, but you might not want to do it every time. We'll also show you how to make sure you always run a program as administrator in Windows 10.

The simple way to run a program as an administrator in Windows 10 is to find the app you want to open in the Start Menu, right click and select 'Run as administrator' within the More section (above). However, this only does it once but you might want to open that application as an administrator every time.

See how to do this below and repeat the process for any programs you want to always run as administrator. Make sure you only do this with applications with that you trust and know how to use. It's not by default and gives you a warning to avoid big and unwanted changes being made to your system. See more Windows how to articles.
