And it appears this flagship still has a huge lead over its Android rivals, even with new iPhones expected to be announced on Wednesday, September 12.
Tech trade-in site Music Magpie, recently insisted the iPhone X has held 68 percent of its value since being released while newer Android rivals such as the Samsung Galaxy S9+ have lost roughly half of their original value in a mere five months on the market.
The firm put together its depreciation data based on how much it would offer for a number of flagships since their respective debuts.
It declared the iPhone X in a 64GB variant would sell for £572 on the site, marking a depreciation of minus 34 percent since November.
And it declared the 256GB option of the product would sell for £680, marking a depreciation of minus 32 percent.
Apple's iPhone X launched for a price of £999 for the 64GB storage model and £1,149 for the 256GB variant.
Meanwhile, the company explained it would offer customers a mere £290 for the Google Pixel 2 XL with 128GB of storage, marking a huge price plunge of minus 80 percent.
Google Pixel 2 XL launched for £799 if customers wanted 64GB of storage and £899 if they wanted the 128GB variant.
Huawei's P20 Pro also sells for a fraction of its initial asking price.
The Chinese flagship sells for £300, marking a price decline of minus 78 percent.
The P20 Pro was priced at £800 for the baseline model when it released earlier this year.
And Samsung's Galaxy S9+ with 128GB of storage will sell on the site for £432, marking a price fall of just over 50 percent.
Music Magpie put together a chart of devices that itclaimsdepreciate the least and Apple's iPhone line dominated the list.
The first four spots of the chart went to the iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 respectively.
Samsung's Galaxy S8 and S8+ following in fifth and sixth places respectively.
Apple is presumed to be planning the grand unveilings of new iPhones at a scheduled hardware event on Wednesday, September 12.
