Instagram will be experimenting a new look for your profile page in coming weeks. The Facebook-owned company on Wednesday said that it will be testing ways in which users can better express themselves, and easily connect with the people they care about on Instagram.

Starting Wednesday, Instagram users might see some features rearranged at the top of their profile page. These changes may include restyling or tweaks to the icons, buttons and tabs for a better visual and productivity experience. The company though specifically notes that it doesn't intend to touch user content, hence photos and videos shared by user on the profile grid will remain same.
"Over the next several weeks, you may see features re-arranged at the top of your profile including changes to icons, buttons and the way you navigate between tabs, which we hope will make profiles easier and cleaner to use. The photos and videos you ve shared on your grid won t change," noted Instagram on its blog post.

Instagram will be testing these changes randomly and in different phases. It will experiment with different combinations, and learn from user feedback to update the experience.

Earlier this week, the photo-sharing platform took first major step to kill fake followers and spammers. It started removing inauthentic follows, likes and comments violating its policies from accounts of people who use these fraudulent apps. The company is also discouraging users from sharing their login details with another company, since this can lead them to being hacked or used as a spam account..
