Instant Messaging app Whatsapp is constantly being asked to change some features from the Indian government. But it has least happend that WhatsApp has obeyed the government. Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) has asked to bring a new feature from WhatsApp. Under this feature, users should have the option that without permission no one can add them into the group. Now you can add anyone to your group. Similarly, anyone who has your number can add you to any group.

However, WhatsApp brought feature under which the user should have a number in the contacts of the Group Administrator. If the user has exited him from the group twice he cannot be reconnected. The ministry has written in its letter that despite the exit of the group twice, the user is added to the group through the other admin. In some cases the group is created from the second number and users are added to it. However, WhatsApp has not responded so far. Significantly, due to the spread of fake news on India's WhatsApp news, many conflicts have been occurred in between friends and knowns. To prevent this, the government has asked WhatsApp users to bring a location tracking tool that spreads news or rumors however, WhatsApp's refusal to do so by referring to the privacy of the user.

Now, if the head of WhatsApp is kept in India, then hopefully WhatsApp will work on this new feature.
