Oppo launched a new budget segment smartphone in India today called the Oppo A1K. The Oppo A1K has been launched for a price of Rs 8490. The key highlight of the Oppo A1K is its waterdrop notch design and 4000mAh battery. In India, the Oppo A1K comes in only one variant -- 2GB RAM + 32GB storage. Interested buyers will be able to buy the phone in two colours including Red and Black.
The Oppo A1K comes with a waterdrop screen together with an Anti-reflective coating - that Oppo claims can offer "comfortable user experience". The 4000mAh battery of the Oppo A1K is said to deliver "exceptional long battery life for uninterrupted user experience". The Oppo A1K comes bundled with 10W charger. The company claims that A1K supports up to 17 hours of daily usage and can deliver exceptionally long battery life.
On the hardware front, the Oppo A1K is powered by MediaTek 6762 CPU that the company claims can multiple applications seamlessly at the same time. Basically, Oppo claims that the new Oppo A series phone can "effectively serve multiple user scenarios while reducing power consumption". The Oppo phone comes in only one variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
For the new A series phone Oppo brings waterdrop notch display. The Oppo A1K comes packed with a 6.1-inch LCD waterdrop display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 87.43 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The screen of the phone is protected with a layer of unspecified Gorilla Glass. Talking about the screen performance of the Oppo A1K the company says that the phone can handle multimedia usage well. The company says "from gaming to watching videos to just plain web browsing, users can enjoy an unparalleled and immersive experience."
On the camera front, the Oppo A1K includes a single camera on both front and back panel. On the rear panel the Oppo phone includes an 8MP camera while on the front it includes a 5MP shooter. On the front the phone comes with F2.0 aperture that Oppo says "helps in making the selfies look more natural". The Oppo phone also comes with support for Bokeh Effect in order to let users click flawless portrait shots.
With the Oppo A1K the company is targeting the offline buyers mostly. The Oppo A1K will be available for purchase starting today in India. The phone will be available across several platforms including Amazon India, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Tata CLiQ, PayTM Mall and all offline stores.
