Samsung launches affordable Smart TVs from Rs 24,990, to rival Xiaomi’s Android TV models

Samsung has unveiled a new range of affordable Smart TVs for the Indian market. Starting from Rs 24,990, TVs offer a lot of smart features for an enhanced viewing experience.


Samsung has been quite aggressive in recent times with its smartphones and smart TVs. The company recently launched its online-exclusive series of super6 4K TVs in India against the Xiaomi’s Mi TV series. Now, Samsung has launched another range of affordable Smart TVs starting from Rs 24,990. The latest range offers the TVs with High Definition (HD) panels and Ultra High Definition (4K) panels.
The new range of Samsung Smart TVs offers unique benefits such as Personal Computer, Music System, Home Cloud, Live Cast and Two Way Sharing to the consumers.
The new Smart TVs allow users to create documents or work from the cloud such as creating your school or office presentations. Users can also mirror their laptop on the Smart TV screen wirelessly without internet connection for a big screen or extended screen experience. Users can remotely access their laptop or personal computer from any location over the internet. Samsung says the Smart TVs are secured by multi-layered Knox for security and provides access to Microsoft Office 365 services over the cloud.
The Smart TVs also turn into a virtual music system, allowing the user to choose from a library of skins, manage multiple device playlists and create an immersive musical experience with an external speaker. The TVs can also be used as cloud service, in which media files from your smartphone can be transferred automatically on to the USB drive connected to the TV which in turn is password protected. While there’s no Chromecast, smartphone users can still share a live stream on the Smart TV.
As with all Samsung Smart TVs, Smart Hub gives access to all your content, including live TV, apps and other sources. The 60K+ titles encompass of International and National Content in 10+ local languages accompanied with a wide array of content as per consumers’ choice.
The base version of the new Samsung Smart TVs comes with a 32-inch panel and is priced at Rs 24,900 and is available across screen sizes up to 82-inches. Unlike the Super6 series, these TVs are available at all Samsung Smart Plazas and other consumer electronic stores.
