Also, the iOS version of the app is also getting a feature that was previously rolled out on Android. According to Google, users will now be able to report crashes, speed traps and slower traffic from their iPhones. The company said that the feature is being expanded to iOS following popularity among Android users. Both features will begin rolling around the globe this week.

Google Maps is the latest new feature introduced to make the daily commute less hassle free for the world's commuters. The company launched information in real-time developments in 24 cities around the world after predictions were dropped before the transit 'congestion' was announced in June to see how crowded users could get their bus, train or subway. As part of a plan to reassure users about their privacy, the company is also bringing 'incognito mode' to Maps.

In addition to the aforementioned features, Google Maps has also recently announced new improvements that will help visually impaired people move more easily. As part of the plan, both applications now announce more detailed voice guides and new types of verbal announcements for walking tours. Currently, it is only available in the United States and Japan, but the company hopes that the outlook will expand this feature to more markets to help more people.
